Nestled on the third floor of Lee Gardens Two in vibrant Causeway Bay, An Nam offers a delightful escape into the heart of Vietnamese cuisine. This enchanting eatery combines a calm, spacious interior with a menu that artfully balances traditional flavors with innovative twists. From the moment you step inside, the warm and friendly atmosphere welcomes you, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely lunch or an intimate dinner.
One of the standout features of An Nam is its thoughtful menu filled with unique offerings. For those seeking vegetarian delights, the Sautéed Spinach with Garlic and Fish Sauce and Wokfried Baby Kale with Salted Fish both come highly recommended at HK$108. Each dish is vibrantly fresh, showcasing the natural flavors of the ingredients paired with the bold tastes of Vietnamese cooking.
As a food reviewer, I must highlight their Vietnamese Bouillabaisse, an exquisite dish featuring a harmonious blend of fresh king prawn bisque, crab meat, squid, clam, and fish, served elegantly with a side of garlic crouton for HK$148. It's a seafood lover’s dream, offering both richness and depth of flavor that lingers delightfully on the palate.
The reviews speak volumes about An Nam's impressive offerings. Patrons rave about the afternoon tea set, priced competitively at HK$400 for two, presenting an array of delectable bites that are both filling and satisfying. It’s a refreshing alternative to the tiered afternoon tea experiences often found in hotels. Guests also appreciate the staff's attentiveness and willingness to assist, ensuring that each visit is special.
For those who enjoy a bustling, yet comfortable dining experience, An Nam does not disappoint. The blend of creative non-alcoholic beverages, such as the Fresh Young Coconut (HK$71) and Mango Juice (HK$66), offers a refreshing respite, enhancing the vibrant dining experience. Dine-in or take out, the consistent quality and service keep diners returning for more.
In conclusion, An Nam - Lee Gardens Two is a culinary gem worth exploring. The balance of traditional Vietnamese flavors with contemporary dining experiences creates a unique chapter in the Hong Kong food scene. Whether you're enjoying their innovative a la carte options or indulging in their set menus, each dish is crafted to provide a taste of Vietnam that is both authentic and delightful.
“ The afternoon tea set here is really amazing. Everything is done well, great variety, very filling (but not overly so). HKD400 for 2 pax, which is a VERY competitive price when compared with hotels or others who offer the 'tiered' afternoon tea experience. Surprised not more people were there... Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very calm vibe and very spacious interior. 3/F of Lee Gardens Two at one end of the mall. [Jan 2025 update] Also tried their weeknight dinner. Surprisingly busy but still friendly and reasonably efficient service. The a la carte menu has a lot of variety and many unique dishes not normally found in mainstream Vietnamese cuisine restaurants. All very tasty. Non-alcoholic coolers are very creative and refreshing too. ”
“ One of my favorite eateries in Hong Kong. Must try their egg Vietnamese coffee and French fusion dessert ”
“ The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was busy. The staff were friendly and the service was fairly quick. Some dishes took a bit longer than others. The only let down was the beef being a bit chewy. ”
“ I love their lunch menu. Came back to buy take out dinner. The manager, Pong, reluctantly helped me using my 5 printed Lee Garden coupons. As I am a visitor, and my phone won't let me download the app nor coupons bec of different regions. ”
“ This Vietnamese restaurant at Lee Gardens 2 is always busy. We tried their new set dinner menu : 2 ppls for 1, good price! The appetizers plate, charcoal grilled pork chop and pho with assorted beef and pandan cakes were all good. The disappointment was the french baguette with curry lobster. The lobster was too soft and tasteless. You felt that it was not that fresh. We came back and ordered a la Carrie, all dishes are okay. Anyway, the service was good and the price was reasonable. ”
“ I've been wanting to come here for months now. I ordered 3 dishes and everything was tasty and well balanced in flavor. The service was pretty good too. I didn't have much time to chat, so I was just in and out. Next time I come here, I will spend more time to enjoy my meal. I just wanted to leave a review and share that everything was really good, service was great, and for the price? You can't beat this. It's a nice place to have business meetings, bring your family, a date, friends. I'll be sure to come back! ”
“ Cozy restaurant with delicious Vietnamese food! We ordered a few items to share and everything was great. Banh beo really stood out as the plainness of the rice flan goes really well with the toppings - excellent texture combinations too. Portion was generous and filled us quite well. The beef on the salad was juicy and nicely grilled. The atmosphere was pleasant even though the restaurant was quite busy on a weekend lunchtime. Service was quick and helpful to our requests. Will definitely consider going back! ”
